Our Values

Our mission statement is to Provide a Home for our community to come as they are and focus on good company, good conversation, good vibes, and good views. Enjoy. Relax. Connect. Inspire.

As such, we strongly believe it important at the California Surf Club that all action & motion be guided by values that we strive to achieve. In keeping with this belief, our Advisory Members created a well-crafted set of values that we have adopted as our compass. We hope every member reads, appreciates, and in some way incorporates these values into daily human practice.

We embody and celebrate the beach lifestyle. We embrace the unique culture, spirit, and activities that come with living near the ocean. We foster an authentic community that cherishes and respects the coastal environment where we promote a sustainable and responsible approach to beach living. We pull off fine wine in flip flops.

We don't care what you look like or where you are from, but we do care that you are open to learning about one another, discovering common ground, and celebrating the best of California culture. Here you don't have to be a surfer, but you probably know one.

Community

We are deeply rooted in our community and actively give back through partnerships, donations, and volunteer efforts that support ocean conservation, safety, and the betterment of our community as a whole. We are lucky and grateful to live at the beach. Our legacy runs as deep as the ocean

Integrity is at the core of everything we do. We conduct ourselves with honesty, transparency, and ethical behavior, upholding the highest standards of professionalism. We build trust among our members and stakeholders, and ensure our actions align with our values and our values include a lot of high-fives.

Conservation

We are stewards of our environment. We protect and preserve our precious natural resources. We promote sustainable practices within our operations, reduce our ecological footprint when possible, and encourage environmental awareness and education among our members and community. We think globally, but act locally by cleaning up our own backyard first.

Confidentiality

"What happens at the CA Surf Club..."

Remember that we consider this space special and secure. We don't want the pictures and social media reels posted while we are trying to unwind, reconnect, network, enjoy family, or talk a little business. Our members have a home away from home here and we keep our comments and experiences inside the circle of trust.
